A thoughtful approach to timeless storytelling
Our story started 7 years ago, running into eachother (again) and recognizing the undeniable fit, and easyness to be ourselves around eachother we went all-in on the relationship. We started travelling and working together prrretty soon after. A poco loco you might say but we can say succesfully. Because since last summer we can say that we are happily engaged. We balance eachother out in energy. Rowan will hype you up, while Merlins talent is to calm you down. Our talents are complimentary, giving you the art and the story, the little moments and the big ones, in image, sounds and atmosphere to keep your most important memories with you for a lifetime.

ROWAN
Hi there!
So, what to tell? I am a 31 year old who love to dance, surf, hike and to get lost in old cities with endless amounts of stories and beautiful architecture. I love to be around people. It's my happy place.
Before going all-in on weddings, I worked in event, fashion, family and studio photography while studying psychology at the University of Amsterdam. Turns out, weddings bring together everything I love: art, human connection, big feelings and all the beautifully unpredictable moments in between.
I’m a people person with a soft spot for happy chaos. I’ll help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, read the room, catch the little things and probably take way too many photos. The greatest photos are hidden in the between moments.
MERLIN
Growing up, my parents were total film buffs. They crossed paths in those old-school cinemas, and I guess you could say I inherited their love for storytelling and films.
Outside of work, you’ll find me hanging out with my friends, trying my hand at all sorts of sports (gym, surfing, mountain biking, playing tennis). I love to keep myself busy with DJ'ing and music production and find a lot of inspiration on festivals. Oh, and I’m all about those wild vacations with Rowan, friends, and family.
As a filmmaker, I reckon that a killer story lies in its preparation, so the story can be told from beginning to end with all the small moments and emotions included. So, I neatly organize every chat we’ve ever had, take down notes with my note-taking system, and always know the next steps in the storytelling game.
The real-time capture of emotions and spoken words meant I could always go back to those moments most treasured, especially when life has other plans.
